Akeneo 5.0 Release

The Akeneo PIM 5.0 release has just been published. In total, over 70 new features and improvements have been realized in the areas of automation, governance, quality, connectivity and productivity.

Highlights:

More automation with the new «Rules Builder» functionality directly in the PIM interface. Speed up the enrichment process for product descriptions, for example, with «Concatenate Actions».
Faster synchronization with the new «Events API». In addition, endpoints have been added for the existing REST API to reduce the amount of data and the size of responses to API calls.
Import individual units of measurements or create your own directly via the PIM user interface. Also benefit from automatic product volume calculations.

Michael aka Michi has been with brix for over five years. As Senior Business Consultant and Head of DAM, he has already implemented numerous projects and is one of the most sought-after experts. He always lends a sympathetic ear to customers and employees. His expertise extends far beyond DAM and project management, which is why he is an important pillar for us as a team, as well as for our customers. Even when things are on fire, he's calm and always up for a joke - I wonder if he learned that as a lieutenant in the fire brigade.

He finds balance to his busy workday in his family and camping in nature. In terms of sports, he gets his kicks from biking in the mountains and on downhill trails.

His motto: «There are no problems - only challenges!»

Customer request «color gradients» available in core

The W2P system brix:papilio now offers you the option to apply color gradients, for example for titles. Create color gradients that correspond exactly to your brand specifications.

As an option in editing elements, you can define any number of color gradients with different color levels and gradient directions. There are no limits to your creativity.
