CIB flow – Process automation with low-code - brix - Basel/Allschwil
CIB Flow1

Requirements change faster than IT can implement them. Forms, approvals, inboxes, contracts – much of this runs via email communication, causing numerous media breaks. Every adjustment thus becomes a small development project. This slows you down and ties up exactly the resources you need elsewhere.

CIB Flow2

CIB flow is a low-code platform from CIB software GmbH for process automation. It rests on three pillars: visual process modeling with BPMN 2.0, pre-built low-code building blocks, and the «easyForm» form builder. «CIB seven» – an independent further development of Camunda 7 – serves as the process engine in the background. This enables the rapid creation of process solutions, ranging from simple application forms to company-wide end-to-end workflows.

brix supports the implementation – from analysis through to operation. CIB flow is particularly useful where processes are document-heavy, heavily regulated, and subject to frequent changes.

Why CIB flow

CIB flow truly shines in specific scenarios. Together, we’ll assess – regardless of vendor – whether the platform is the best fit for your needs. CIB flow is particularly well-suited when:

  • your processes are document-intensive and regulated (finance, insurance, public sector) and traceability is critical.
  • digital sovereignty is important: «CIB seven» is open-source and can be operated on-premises.
  • you currently rely on Camunda 7 and are looking for a migration solution that is as simple, cost-effective, and future-proof as possible – «CIB seven» is based on a direct fork of Camunda 7 and, thanks to high backward compatibility, enables a smooth transition with minimal customization effort.
  • You want to develop processes at low-code speed while relying on the established BPMN 2.0 standard.

Why choose brix as a Partner

The success of a process project rarely depends on the platform alone. What matters most are the right resources, the necessary expertise, and pragmatic implementation. As an official CIB partner, brix supports companies in implementing process initiatives quickly and successfully.

We guide you every step of the way – from process analysis through low-code strategy, integration, and architecture to productive operation. At the same time, through active knowledge transfer, we ensure that business units and IT understand the solution, support it, and can independently further develop it in the long term.

In process automation, it’s not the tool that matters, but how smoothly it’s implemented. That’s exactly where we come in – pragmatically, holistically, and with an eye toward tomorrow’s operations.
