Recap CIB Community Day 2025
by Kevin Lang
On October 28, 2025, the first «CIB seven Community Day» took place at Arabellapark Munich – a promising start for a new community. With over 40 participants on site and around 50 viewers watching the livestream, a lively, open atmosphere prevailed from the very beginning, setting the tone for the day.
The event was sponsored by the CIB Group, a technology and software company based in Munich since 1989. CIB supports companies and public administrations in the digitalization and automation of processes and has a broad international presence with locations in Germany, Austria, Spain, and Portugal. The combination of many years of expertise, technological ambition, and an active community forms the framework in which «CIB seven» is constantly being developed—and it was precisely this interaction that was particularly evident on Community Day.
The day began with an introduction by the management and a comprehensive overview of «CIB seven». This was followed by a varied program of customer presentations, technical deep dives, and open networking sessions, which brought the community closer together.
A particular highlight was the preview of the upcoming «CIB seven Marketplace». Starting next year, enterprise features such as the Form Builder from CIB flow, connectors, blueprints, and community add-ons will be available there – both free of charge and for a fee. Equally important: the new Webmodeler will be integrated as standard in the future. The previous Camunda UI will be completely removed and replaced by the intuitively designed interface developed in-house.
There was also news from a technical perspective: the next version, which contains all the changes from the latest Camunda community version, has already been released. This means that the complete replacement of the Camunda fork is within reach – with continued easy migration and a stable technological basis in the long term.
In addition to the insights into the content, there was plenty of room for personal discussions. The exchange with CIB employees, partners, and customers clearly showed how committed and diverse the community is.
A big thank you to CIB and everyone involved for the excellent organization, the pleasant atmosphere, and the 36 years of experience that could be felt in every detail. We look forward to continuing our collaboration—and to the next Community Day!
