Review: CamundaCon 2025 in Amsterdam

From June 10 to 12, 2025, CamundaCon took place in the heart of Amsterdam – an event focused on modern process automation, Agentic workflows, and community networking. More than 1,000 attendees experienced three intensive days full of insights, best practices, and forward-looking perspectives.
Day 1 – Partner Summit and kick-off
The exclusive Partner Summit kicked off the event, focusing on the international partner community. In addition to a wide range of masterclasses and sessions, three panels provided valuable insights:
- In the Executive Panel, the Camunda management team, including CEO Jakob Freund, answered questions from the community.
- Another panel was dedicated to the topic of Agentic AI, with exciting insights from the ecosystem.
- In the third panel, the certified migration partners for Camunda 8 were asked about their experiences in a transparent exchange – a practical and honest look at the challenges of implementing complex migration projects.
Accompanied by summer weather and thrilling discussions on site, Camunda got off to a successful start on the first day of the conference.
Day 2 – AI, use cases, and strong customer success stories
The second day of CamundaCon was packed with exciting insights and concrete application examples. A sold-out masterclass demonstrated how artificial intelligence can be usefully combined with process automation. The subsequent keynote speech on Agentic AI clearly showed where intelligent process control is headed in the future.
A special highlight was the customer presentation by Swisscom. The company showed how it implemented the Titan project in record time with Camunda – an impressive example of successful automation. Initial projects from the partner network were also presented. These use cases for Agentic Orchestration clearly demonstrated the versatility of the technology.
The relaxed evening program with good food, music, and many stimulating conversations provided the Camunda community with an atmospheric conclusion to an inspiring day.
Day 3 – Master Series, technological depth, and future outlook
On the third and final day of CamundaCon, the Master Series offered in-depth insights into current developments.
Sessions on ...
- RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
- IDP (Intelligent Document Processing)
- Agentic Orchestration...
showed how these technologies complement the Camunda platform and make it unique.
The keynotes by Bernd Rücker, co-founder and Chief Technologist, and Bastian Körber, Vice President of Product Management at Camunda, were another highlight.
They provided an exciting outlook on the future of process automation and impressed with a live demo on agentic orchestration. This clearly demonstrated how strongly Camunda continues to develop — technically, strategically, and with an eye on the requirements of tomorrow.
