On Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 1:45 p.m., an expectant crowd met for a short welcome by our CEO, Roland Kannappel, and under the expert guidance of Pascal Köhli, they were immediately introduced to the history of «Richterich & Co., Laufen», the production process and worldwide distribution during one hour.
We learned that exactly 13 herbs – cultivated by around a hundred Swiss herb farmers according to the strictest quality guidelines and mixed since 1940 according to the same, of course top secret recipe – provide the basis for «Chrüterchraft». These are mainly delivered dried in large sacks and then land in Europe's largest loam building – designed by Herzog & de Meuron and opened at the beginning of May 2014.
The tour ended in a seminar room overlooking the processing of herbs, where Roland Kannappel gave us a brief introduction to the activities of brix cross media after a coffee break. Following his presentation, Johannes Fenner, Digital Manager at Ricola, gave us an extremely exciting insight into «RICH», the «Ricola Internal Content Hub». Based on CELUM in collaboration with brix cross media as implementation partner, the DAM-System was successfully introduced over a year ago. Today, «RICH» is very actively used with an average of 2,000 downloads per month and for many employees it is impossible to imagine life without it.
Peter Eder, Sales Manager Switzerland, wrapped up the presentation with an insight into the CELUM Productivity Platform, in which, in addition to DAM, Marketing Project Management with «Workrooms» and the Content Marketplace with Contidio play a central role.
An excellent Apéro Riche (many thanks to CELUM for sponsoring!) provided the setting for many inspiring discussions among the attending CELUM customers, agencies and potential future customers.
