Conditions of participation for brix events & webinars - brix - brix - Basel/Allschwil

The following conditions of participation apply when registering for events/seminars/conferences of brix Solutions AG, Baslerstrasse 103A, 4123 Allschwil, Switzerland.


Registration / Confirmation

Registration for a brix event is only possible electronically using the form provided on the respective event website. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received or, in the case of closed events, after approval by the organizer, if necessary. Telephone messages or e-mail inquiries do not count as registrations. Requests must always be personalized and truthful information must be provided. They are only considered as successful registration when the participation has been confirmed by brix via e-mail. Participation without personal confirmation of registration is not possible. For online events, participants will receive a personalized link prior to the event.

Cancellation

In case of a cancellation of the registration up to 14 days before the event date, brix does not charge a cancellation fee. For later cancellations or no-shows, we charge a fee of CHF 100.00, which we donate to a charitable organization. Cancellation must be made via e-mail.

Substitute participant

If a participant is prevented from attending, a substitute participant can be named for the booked date free of charge. The same conditions apply to this participant.

Changes/Cancellation

The organizer reserves the right to replace announced speakers with others and to make necessary changes to the event program while maintaining the overall character of the event. If the event cannot be held due to force majeure, speakers being unable to attend, disruptions at the venue or pandemic events or official requirements, participants will be informed immediately.

Liability

The organizer is not liable for loss or damage to items brought to events, except in cases of intentional or grossly negligent conduct by employees or other agents. The organizer therefore asks that no valuables or important materials be left behind at the event location during breaks. The events are carefully prepared and conducted by qualified speakers. The organizer assumes no liability for the timeliness, accuracy and completeness with regard to the event documents and the execution of the event.

Data protection / photos and videos

The organizer uses your data exclusively for internal, administrative purposes and does not pass them on to third parties. You have the possibility to object to the use of your data at any time. By registering for an event, participants give explicit permission for photographs and videos to be taken in the context of the event and used for marketing purposes.

Webinar

The following conditions of participation apply when registering for webinars held by brix Solutions AG, Baslerstrasse 103A, 4123 Allschwil, Switzerland. They describe how we collect and use your data.

Data collection

We collect the following personal data from you when you register:

  • Name, first name
  • E-mail address
  • Company you work for
  • Job title

Additional data collection occurs:

  • During the webinar, such as through chat messages or questions.

Use of data

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • The administration and delivery of the webinar
  • The provision of information and resources related to the webinar
  • The ability to contact you following the webinar
  • Internal purposes
  • Marketing activities

Storage and deletion

Your data will be kept for as long as it is required for the above-mentioned purposes. After this period has expired, your data will be deleted.

Rights of the data subjects

You have the right to receive information about the processing of your data upon request. You may also request that your data be corrected or deleted. For such requests, please contact communication@brix.ch.

Third-party providers and order processing agreements

We may use third-party providers to deliver our webinars. In such cases, we enter into order processing agreements to ensure that your data is adequately protected.
