Bulk Editor
The CELUM Extension «Bulk Editor» offers an efficient and flexible way to edit metadata for multiple assets simultaneously – directly in a clear table view. It is designed for users who regularly maintain and update large amounts of media content and simplifies working with extensive data lists such as Excel files.
Main features
- Tabular editing view:
Instead of opening each asset individually, the extension provides an Excel-like table in which metadata can be edited line by line for each asset – quickly, clearly and in a time-saving manner.

- Multi-line pasting:
Content from Excel or Google Sheets can be inserted directly into the table – metadata overview – in one go. - Individual values instead of mass values:
Unlike CELUM's standard bulk editing, which only allows uniform values to be set for multiple assets, the Bulk Editor allows individual metadata for each individual asset. - Bulk saving of all changes:
After inserting or manually editing the metadata in the tabular overview, all changes can be saved with just one click.
Application example
A company has an Excel file with additional product information. The corresponding media in CELUM already contain the appropriate product ID in the metadata. With the extension, the assets can be conveniently sorted by product ID. The values from the Excel table can then be copied and pasted directly into the corresponding row and column of the tabular overview. This allows metadata to be added individually and precisely – quickly, with few errors, and without the tedious task of opening and editing each individual asset.
Advantages
- No more tedious opening, editing, saving, and switching between individual assets
- Significantly accelerated workflow for tagging large asset volumes
- Minimization of errors through structured editing
- Ideal for content maintenance, localization, campaign preparation, or data corrections
