Public tenders leave no room for vague promises. The award criteria are clear from the outset. In the end, what counts is whether experience, methodology, approach, and bid price are convincing.
The fact that the FHNW chose brix with 990 out of a possible 1'000 points confirms our approach: first understand, then select the appropriate product, and design the best solution. We are now looking forward to the implementation, with CELUM as the DAM system and central branding portal, as well as brix:anura for the individual university portals.
The FHNW is no small institution. Ten colleges, five locations, around 40'000 assets, 300 GB of data – and approximately 350 employees each month who access digital assets such as images, videos, logos, icons, and templates via the existing branding portal. Added to this are individual libraries for each college, differentiated access rights based on college affiliation, and the FHNW’s entire CD and CW guidelines, which must be mapped out in a structured manner.
The task is correspondingly challenging: it's not about building something new – but rather about seamlessly migrating an existing solution into a new system without interrupting ongoing operations.

Migrations of this scale cannot be achieved through technology alone. It requires a project team on both sides that knows what it’s doing – and that considers issues such as data quality, access rights, and user guidance from the very beginning.
We look forward to collaborating with the FHNW.
Whether it’s a tender, a migration, or a new build – we’d be happy to discuss what makes sense for your situation.
